Bay Youth Center located in Bayway Cabin welcomes 5th – 8th grade children who live and/or attend a school in Bay Village. The Youth Center follows the Bay Village School Calendar. It is open Monday through Friday from 3:00 – 5:30 p.m. on school days and 1:30 – 4:00 p.m. during the summer (Hours subject to change).
At the Youth Center young people find friendship and fun activities in a safe and nurturing environment. Rules of respect and responsibility are expected to be followed. The child must be registered to attend the Youth Center. Once registered the children are issued a pass to gain admittance to the center. They are required to use the pass to enter and exit the Youth Center. Youth are free to leave when they want, but cannot return the same day. Staff and Volunteers supervise all areas and activities.
Throughout the years, BYC has been very fortunate to have accumulated through donations: pool tables, air hockey tables, foosball tables and ping pong tables. BYC offers movies, video games, computer games, crafts, board games and much more!
The Youth Center relies on the generous donations of our community organizations and families to help us provide daily snacks, crafts, etc. for the children. Your tax deductible donations and in kind gifts are always appreciated. Gifts and services improve and maintain the quality of activities, equipment, and supplies.
